Greenland Paddle Carving Clinic: Saturday March 10th  9:00-5:00   $135
Every Greenland Paddle is as Unique as it's Paddler.  Carve your own paddle under the expert tutelage of Don Beale.  Don started carving Greenland paddles in 1999 after building a stitch and glue kayak.  Beale Paddles was started in 2002; since then, Don has carved over 570 custom-built paddles.  Beale Paddles are in Greenland, Japan, Germany, Canada, Mexico,  Australia and the USA.  Don not only builds custom paddles but teaches carving classes at  traditional symposia around the country, including SSTIKS in Washington, Delmarva in Delaware, Michigan Training Camp and soon to include the Hudson River Greenland Festival in New York and internationally in Argentina.  

All tools are provided for this full day class.  Reservations are required and you will want to sign up early to ensure that Don has a custom blank fit to your needs and ready for carving at class.  Use your new paddle for the Greenland Strokes Class on April 21 to learn about it's great versatility on the water.  

Greenland Strokes Class: Saturday April 21  12:00-4:00   $75 
Learn about the Greenland Paddle's great versatility on the water and take the time to compare it to the Euro Blade.  You can take this class in conjunction with the above carving class or on it's own.  Greenland and Euro Paddles will be provided for anyone who needs one.  

Spring Kayak Demo Days: The following demo days will take place at Sellwood Riverfront Park, just north of the Sellwood Bridge.  These events are free and do not require reservations.
